After looking at this picture I realized how far away this whole event seems now. While each day has been passing so slowly, I suddenly look back and it feels like ages since it all began. Sadly enough, that makes me think about how quickly the whole event will eventually fade from our immediate memory; without the constant replay of the footage of the crashes and destruction to remind you, it all starts to fade away. I know that none of us will really ever completely forget, but I am beginning to think that maybe we should be playing those images again and again, day after day at regular intervals. Let people be forced to see it over and over. For that matter, leave the images of the WTC up on posters and movies and wherever they are; I believe that giving people a constant reminder of what was done is the only way to ensure that they don’t get bored of the war on terrorism.
