Constant Change is the New Normal
All of our communities and workplaces are under some pretty dramatic changes these days. Many folks I know are looking for work or dealing with a significant life transition. Learning how to sit with discomfort and channel it into productive ends is in my experience the best thing any of us can do.
I’ve been having some incredible conversations with old friends and new that have inspired me and charged me up for the weeks ahead. Some of that has led me to start a couple of new projects which I’ll continue to talk about here.
Books I’m Reading
Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green
Have you heard of TB? Of Consumption? Then you’ve heard of Tuberculosis, one of the longest running and most pervasive diseases in human history. In this amazing non-fiction book, John Green digs into the history of how we have come to understand it and also why human choices are what keeps it going. Fascinating and a very fast read.
